A mobile, or cellular, phone is an electronic device that communicated over a cellular network of base stations and can be transported with you.

It is considered that there are two types of mobile phone: low-end mobile phones that are known as feature phones and high-end mobile phones, known as smartphones.

Mobile phones allow users the ability to make and receive telephone calls both to and from the public telephone network.

This is achieved by connecting to a cellular network that is operated by a mobile network, with a key feature being seamless telephone calls when the user is moving around wide areas.
